Choosing Wrong Accounting Software Ends up a Nightmare
Implementing new software can be one of the toughest times for a company. With little knowledge of the software as well as little control, companies may be left in vulnerable positions if the wrong software company is chosen to help run its operations.
John White, cofounder of Uni-Flooring Resources, reecently found himself in this predicament. Interested in Accounting Software for his growing company, John decided to invest in 2Clix Accounting Software. Doing little research on the product or company, John and his company found many problems with the accounting software and decided on another accounting software provider.
However, changing accounting software providers was made difficult by 2Clix. 2Clix Accounting Software still had control over all of White’s data they had stored in 2Clix’s system. 2Clix Accounting did not allow White and his company to access the data without paying a fee for it. This was a nightmare as he soon came to realize the importance of investing time in researching the right solution. Many headaches could have been saved had they chosen the right solution to begin with. Being careful with any critical financial data is also very important. As shown with White’s company, giving other companies too much control over any important data can leave the company in a very vulnerable position.
