Why no mention of sql-ledger, Front accounting, openerp to name but a few. Also, coupled to this you should also be considering a HR application, for this you could do worse than look at orangehrms. These two groups do very different things, so I'm not sure how useful comparing them is in terms of deciding what kind of accounting software that you want to use.
