inDinero Launches Receipt Tracking for SMBs

inDinero, the free small business accounting software company founded by young entrepreneur Jessica Mah, launched their receipt tracking feature earlier today, which has apparently been in high demand for a while.

One of the most difficult aspects of managing your finances as a small business is that keeping track of your receipts is a Herculean task, especially when you’re dealing with hundreds of receipts in a fiscal year. How many of you actually have a shoebox filled with unfiled receipts?

inDinero aims to eliminate that hassle, both for you and your accountant, by implementing a receipt tracking feature that allows you to upload physical and virtual receipts to your inDinero account, thus keeping meticulous accounts on every transaction your company makes, right down to the itemization. In order to propel users to take full advantage of this new feature, inDinero is offering to upload your receipts themselves, all you have to do is mail them into the company. Additionally, the company that sends in the most receipts will receive a $300 AMEX gift card, though this contest will only last during October.

Launched little over a year ago, inDinero has already raised over $1 million from its investors, including from Yelp’s Jeremy Stoppelman, Microsoft’s Fritz Lanman, Intuit’s David Wu, and many more. Thousands of businesses already use inDinero’s free software, and the site boasts a transaction volume of $2.1 billion from all of its users.

In addition to upfront setup from the inDinero team, a new account includes all the basic financial management features that every small business needs, including real-time reporting, financial adviser, and budgeting. Though it is free online software, it still has bank-level security and 24/7 monitoring, so you can rest assured that your financial data is safe. Now that they’ve implemented this receipt tracking feature, inDinero’s services are even more comprehensive for SMBs, which will definitely make them a company to keep track of in the future.
