Today Deacom, Inc. announced the license of its complete DEACOM accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system to Summit Building Systems, a start-up manufacturer of high-end panelized homes.

The DEACOM software system will provide Summit with order entry, item configuration, links to Summit’s CAD system, production and scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and all accounting functions within a single, integrated system.

Since 1999, Deacom has offered its manufacturing business software to component manufacturers throughout North America. Now Summit Building follows Builder’s Choice of Alaska as the second prefabricated home manufacturing customer of Deacom.

According to the President of Deacom, Jay Deakins, “Most manufacturers of panelized and modular homes have struggled to find ERP software that handles all their specific requirements.
