Intacct Enhances ERP On Demand with Business Intelligence

BI Lets Small and Midsize Businesses Integrate Applications, Run Custom Reports and Ad Hoc Queries, Manage Multiple Budgets, Set Event Alerts and Personalize Dashboards

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 03, 2006) –

Intacct Corporation, the leader in on-demand ERP, today announced the immediate availability of a complete business intelligence solution targeted at small and midsize businesses running multiple, disparate enterprise applications but lacking cost-effective tools to mine, interpret and share information from accounting, sales, human resources and industry-specific software.

Intacct’s BI solution includes personalized dashboards, customized reporting and analytics, budgeting, business event management, integration and data marts. It’s bundled with Intacct’s ERP On Demand, a suite of Web-based financial, supply chain and professional services automation software delivered as a subscription service.

“There are no true on-demand business intelligence platforms available for small and midsize businesses today,” said Jay C. Contreras, president of Crimson Worldwide, a national temporary housing firm. “Intacct, however, lets us combine accounting and supply chain data from ERP On Demand with sales and marketing information from salesforce.com. With a quick peek at the role-based dashboards, our executives find the answers to the questions keeping them awake at night.”

Enterprise customers can integrate, organize and synchronize data between Intacct’s on-demand ERP and third-party applications, such as CRM, HR and manufacturing. Advanced reporting and ad hoc queries analyze the information and display the results on live dashboards, which are personalized for specific roles, including the CEO, CFO, COO and VP of Sales. Decentralized budgets are easily managed online with alerts notifying supervisors of out-of-policy events, such as purchase orders exceeding preset limits, sales orders from top-tier customers and invoices in arrears.

Intacct’s channel partners, mainly software makers and business process outsourcers, benefit from the BI solution, too. For software companies that OEM Intacct’s financial applications, the live dashboards bring additional value to both new and installed customers. BPOs can offer “virtual CFO” services by securely displaying on the Web clients’ reports and statements as easy-to-understand charts and graphs.

“When companies outgrow spreadsheets, there’s a large void in the product selection, which Intacct is targeting with its business intelligence solution,” said Robert J. Jurkowski, CEO and president of Intacct. “We give our customers the power not only to see key performance indicators in real time, but also drill down and adjust the underlying business processes that generate the results on the dashboards.”

Business Intelligence Features

Reporting and Analytics:
In addition to basic and customized financial reports, use the ad hoc query tool to extract and analyze information residing in both Intacct’s ERP On Demand suite and third-party applications, such as CRM, warehouse management and payroll.

Dashboards:
Display all basic and custom reports in easy-to-read graphics and charts. Bring in data from third-party applications. Use the Wizard to personalize dashboard content for specific roles, including the CEO, CFO and VP of Sales. Add unlimited components, RSS feeds and two live reports to the dashboards.

Budgeting:
Compare budgets versus actual reports, manage multiple budgets, forecast future goals by customer, product or region, and import/export to Microsoft® Excel.

Business Event Management:
Track significant events that need attention, such as purchase orders exceeding preset limits or invoices in arrears. A user-friendly Wizard makes it easy to set up alerts.

Integration:
Connect all your data, applications and business processes, using XML, WebSphere, J2EE, .NET and more. Fetch live FedEx® shipping data, for example, and display it on pages inside ERP On Demand. All data is automatically synchronized between Intacct and third-party applications.

Data Marts:
Store and organize data by customer, product, region or any other criteria. The data marts display specific information in reports, queries and dashboards for fast decision making in case of sudden business changes, such as mergers and acquisitions, new product lines and shifting staff responsibilities.
