Openbravo to participate at Open Source Business Conference 09

– Openbravo will be taking part in a panel discussion at the Open Source Business Conference, to be held in San Francisco March 24-25, 2009 –

Barcelona, Spain and Cambridge, Massachusetts (February 19, 2009) – Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point of Sale (POS) solutions for businesses, will be participating in the next edition of the Open Source Business Conference, taking place in San Francisco, March 24-25, 2009.

The event, whose theme this year is Open Sourcing the Enterprise, will bring together senior business leaders to collaborate on emerging business models, strategies and profitability for open source software use.

Openbravo’s Chief Operations Officer, Josep Mitjà, will be contributing to the discussion topic, Company-driven Communities, which will be held Wednesday March 25th at 2pm at the Palace Hotel. The panel, part of the Open Sourcing the Enterprise for the CEO/CMO track, will also feature moderator Stormy Peters, Executive Director of Gnome. Openbravo’s Chief Technology Officer, Paolo Juvara, will also be attending the conference.
