UNIT4 Opens New Operation in Italy
* Expanding coverage of UNIT4 software across Italy and Europe * Helping organizations meet very complex Italian accounting requirements

UNIT4, the world’s leading provider of change-embracing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business software, today announced UNIT4 Business Software SRL, a new Italian operation set up to support existing customers and to expand coverage of UNIT4 software across Italy and Europe, as well as supporting multinational organizations with a presence in Italy.
The new operation will be based in Via Torino, Milan and will initially employ six people to market, sell, and support UNIT4 software with a focus on the Agresso Business World ERP suite and the best-of-class CODA Financials accounting product. The new company began operating on June 21st and is already working with child protection NGO Save the Children, to help its Italian operation based in Rome implement the Agresso Business World ERP suite. Save the Children already uses Agresso in a number of its operations across Europe.
The Italian operation is headed by Country Manager Daniel Acton-Bond, who has over 15 years’ experience: originally supporting and reselling the CODA product suite; more recently as a UNIT4 partner; and now as a fully fledged UNIT4 operation, focused on the business software needs of Italian customers. In particular, UNIT4 offers the in-depth experience and understanding required for successful implementation and localization projects – both for Italian organizations and for multinationals – carrying out international roll-outs for companies such as Ernst and Young Italy, Avis, Alliance Boots, Arval Phh, Spicers and IKEA.
UNIT4 already works with 50 CODA and five Agresso customer organizations in Italy. In addition, the team has been heavily involved in developing and maintaining the Italian localization of the CODA Financials product. This brings considerable benefit to UNIT4 customers operating in Italy and the reassurance that they can trust UNIT4’s solutions to comply with the very complex Italian accounting requirements.
