PLEASANTON, CALIF. (May 01, 2009) –

Workday, Inc., the leader in enterprise-class SaaS-based Human Resources (HR) and Financial solutions, today announced it has renewed its sponsorship of Danville’s annual Devil Mountain Run in support of Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. Workday’s participation through 2011 helps ensure that 100 percent of participants’ entry fees are directed to the hospital’s lifesaving programs.

“Children’s Hospital is truly a treasure in our community, providing pediatric healthcare locally and innovative research that improves the lives of children and adults around the world,” said Dave Duffield, Workday CEO and founder. “For the fourth straight year, the Workday team is excited to participate as the Devil Mountain Run’s title sponsor, and as our company grows, so do our fundraising goals. More than 100 members of the Workday team will be out in force Sunday to support this important cause. We strongly encourage the local community to join us on race day to help raise money for the Children’s Hospital – a fantastic local resource.”

The Workday Devil Mountain Run offers 5K & 10K courses along with a Kid’s Fun Run. For information on how to register for the Workday Devil Mountain Run, please visit www.devilmountainrun.org.
